2022-07-15 08:51:38 Cooperative learning using ICT Cooperative learning is the process of breaking a classroom of students into small groups so they can discover a new concept together and help each other learn. Cooperative learning is based on group work, but it’s also so much more than that. The core element of cooperative learning is to showcase the positive effects of interdependence while underlining the importance of personal responsibility. This happens naturally in cooperative learning since students work with one another, but they all have a different task to accomplish or concept to explain.
PROJECT ACTIVITY Continuous story Continuous story is a great way to encourage reluctant writers and a great source of inspiration. When used in the classroom, this is a great writing activity to improve your student’s creativity, teamwork, communication and writing skills. It is an interactive group story-telling activity in which one person starts a story and then passes a ball to the next person to continue it. It’s the perfect way to make story time a less one-sided pursuit, and help your kids flex their own storytelling skills. Using ICT students will write 3 stories, each containing 6 chapters. Stories will have drawings to illustrate the actions. eBooks will be created at the end of the activity. During the mobility to Croatia one story will be transformed into theatre. Theatre play will be presented and recorded by camera. From the beginning to the end students will have to work together using cooperative learning skills and methods so the task is successfully accomplished at the end.
